Workshop Mechanic – Cranes and Lifting

About the role

EnerMech is a specialist services company providing safe, integrated solutions for complex energy projects, covering Energy Solutions, Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions and Lifting Solutions. A new full-time position has opened for a workshop mechanic in the cranes and lifting workshop based in Tananger, Rogaland, reporting to the workshop foreman.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair and test all lifting equipment brought into the workshop, hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical depending on allocation
• Keep the workshop clean and tidy and ensure company equipment is kept in good condition
• Act safely and professionally at all times in the workshop or on site
• Meet project deadlines or inform the supervisor if problems arise

Required profile

• Relevant vocational qualification such as industrial mechanic, agricultural mechanic or car mechanic
• G10 and/or G11 inspection certificate and proven experience with inspections and regulations
• At least 3 years of experience with cranes and/or lifting equipment, preferably in a team workshop environment
• Positive attitude towards safety and experience working under time pressure
