Barnehagelærer – 20% temporary position in Kristiansand

About the role

We are looking for a passionate kindergarten teacher to join our small‑children department on a 20% temporary basis from 15 December 2026 to 2 July 2027. You will work in a team focused on play‑based learning and natural experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the kindergarten operates in line with the Learning Workshop’s value platform.
• Create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment for children and staff.
• Share knowledge about child development and support professional growth within the centre.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical and methodological work.
• Lead evaluation activities and continuous improvement processes.
• Co‑operate with parents and act as deputy for the pedagogical leader when absent.

Required profile

• Relationship‑oriented, attentive to each child’s needs and communication.
• Solution‑focused, flexible, collaborative and able to work under pressure.
• Good Norwegian language skills, both written and spoken.
• Police clearance must be provided before employment.
• Personal suitability and a warm, caring adult presence are essential.
