Barnehagelærer – Engasjert og omsorgsfull i Fana

About the role

We are looking for a caring everyday hero with a heart for play, comfort and pedagogy to join our small but vibrant kindergarten in Fana. The successful candidate will step in to cover a colleague’s parental leave until autumn 2027, providing warm hugs, creative hide‑and‑seek spots and attentive listening to children’s needs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the kindergarten operates in line with Læringsverkstedet’s value platform.
• Create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment for children and staff.
• Share knowledge about child development and contribute to staff competence building.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical and methodological work.
• Drive evaluation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Co‑manage collaboration with parents and families.
• Act as substitute for the pedagogical leader when absent.

Required profile

• Relationship‑oriented, attentive to each child’s individual needs.
• Strong listening skills and a genuine interest in children’s expressions.
• Ambitious with a passion for pedagogy and the ability to inspire participation in play.
• Solution‑focused, flexible, collaborative and able to communicate with diverse backgrounds.
• Resilient under pressure, responsible, independent and aligned with Læringsverkstedet’s values.
