About the role

We are looking for a pedagogical leader to join our active sports‑oriented kindergarten in Jar. The role combines leading the educational work with hands‑on participation in play, movement and outdoor activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating daily environment for the children.
• Be present and active in play, sports and everyday moments.
• Lead, inspire and develop the staff on the department.
• Drive and further develop the pedagogical work.
• Build strong collaboration with parents.
• Contribute to professional development and a positive culture across the kindergarten.

Required profile

• Enjoy a varied workday, take initiative and want to influence the environment.
• Comfortable being active together with children, whether in the gym, outdoors, on trips or during play.
• Confident in interactions with both children and adults, collaborative and willing to propose ideas.
• Curious, engaged, eager to develop together with colleagues and has a sense of humor.

Required skills

• Approved education as a kindergarten teacher or preschool teacher.
• Good Norwegian language skills, both written and spoken.
• Police clearance certificate required before start date.
• Personal suitability will be assessed.
