About the role

We are looking for a passionate kindergarten teacher who puts the well‑being and development of each child first. You will work in a supportive environment that values a warm, caring culture and aims to create a safe, engaging learning space for children.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations align with the organisation’s value platform and quality standards.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children and staff.
• Plan and execute educational activities, projects, and routines.
• Share knowledge about child development and support staff competence building.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical methods.
• Lead evaluation work and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with parents and act as a substitute for the pedagogical leader when needed.

Required profile

• Relationship‑oriented, attentive to each child’s needs and communication.
• Solution‑focused, flexible, and collaborative.
• Able to communicate with diverse families and work well under pressure.
• Responsible, independent, warm, and caring adult.
• Identifies with the organisation’s values and mission.

Required skills

• Approved higher education degree as kindergarten teacher or preschool teacher.
• Good Norwegian language skills, both written and spoken.
• Police clearance required before employment.
