CHRO – Norway

About the role

NORVA24 is a market leader in operations, maintenance and services for critical underground infrastructure, now growing through acquisitions into 11 Norwegian companies. Skagerak Consulting is recruiting a CHRO to professionalise HR across the group, build common processes and strengthen leadership support. The role is strategic and operational in the first years, with direct collaboration with the CEO and the management board.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and professionalise the HR function in Norway
• Ensure compliance with the Working Environment Act and develop working time and employer practice
• Support leaders on complex personnel and labour law issues
• Drive organisational development, culture building and change management
• Establish and implement common HR processes across the companies
• Build the basis for future leadership development and integration of new acquisitions
• Develop an HR model that could later be rolled out in other countries

Required profile

• Experience as an HR head in organisations with many employees, several locations or complex structures
• Experience in HR leadership, organisational development, change management and labour law
• Experience supporting leaders and handling difficult personnel cases
• Experience in service, contractor, construction, industry, logistics or similar environments

• HR leadership at strategic and operational level

• HR process implementation
