CTO – Technical Director (Electroheating)

About the role

Varmeteknikk AS, Norway's largest supplier of electroheaters for hot water, steam and industrial heating, is looking for a CTO / technical director. You will lead the company's technical development of its products, technologies and technical environments, and act as the main technical resource and advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the company's technical team
• Be the main technical expert and advisor
• Own product development, innovation, product strategy and compliance with regulations, standards and norms
• Own technical documentation and evaluate new technologies and market opportunities
• Contribute to the company's strategic development and support sales, service and production technically

Required profile

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, automation or similar
• Experience in technical management, product development or technical leadership
• Solid knowledge of high-voltage, automation or energy technology
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as NEK, ISO and CEE, and experience with technical documentation
• Knowledge of PLC/HMI systems; AutoCAD, EPLAN or Revit experience is an advantage
