Customer Advisor – Optical Shop (100% Full Time)

About the role

Interoptik Ullevål Stadion, part of Synoptik Norge, is looking for an engaged, positive customer advisor in a full-time position. The shop has a central location on Ullevål Stadion with a stable, loyal and very friendly clientele, and after the new year it will undergo a complete renovation to improve the experience for customers and staff. You will join a small, close-knit team where the customer is always at the centre.

Key responsibilities

• Create good customer experiences and build strong relationships with customers
• Sell and advise on glasses, contact lenses, sunglasses and other products
• Assess customers' needs and find the best solutions for their vision, lifestyle and preferences
• Guide customers through the whole sales process together with opticians and colleagues
• Take orders and carry out simple workshop tasks
• Keep the shop welcoming and inspiring
• Take part in courses and competence development throughout the year
• Advise customers with a focus on quality, safety and good eye health

Required profile

• Enjoys working with people and enjoys creating good customer experiences
• Positive, service-minded and genuinely wants to help others
• Quality-conscious and likes learning new things
• Good enough English to follow internal courses and webinars, since much of the training is in English
