Head of Finance and Partnerships – Kristiansand

About the role

Livsglede for Eldre is a nationwide foundation that mobilises volunteers, local communities and partners to give older people good and meaningful days. It has more than 200 homes and works with many local associations, kindergartens and schools. As head of finance you sit in the board's leadership group, report to the general secretary and combine financial control with developing partnerships and fundraising. You also lead the Kristiansand office and its staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting, and ensure good financial control
• Prepare analyses and decision basis for the general secretary and the board
• Ensure internal controls and develop effective financial processes, systems and funding models
• Develop strategic partnerships with business and drive fundraising, identifying new sustainable income sources
• Represent the foundation with partners and other stakeholders
• Lead the Kristiansand office and create a good working environment
• Coordinate closely with the general secretary and the rest of the organisation

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, management or equivalent
• Experience of financial management, budgeting, analysis and reporting
• Understanding of the link between finance, strategy and organisational development
• Experience of, or good understanding of, partnerships, sales, fundraising or business development
• Good digital skills and comfort with financial and analytical tools; interest in using AI effectively
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken
