Junior Global Planner

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to start and grow a career in global supply chain planning within Yara, a truly international organization. As a Junior Global Planner you will support planning and optimisation activities across Yara's global production network, working with stakeholders from production, procurement, product management, logistics and commercial teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Support supply‑demand balancing and optimisation within IBP for key global production lines, collaborating with markets, sites and planning teams.
• Analyse production plans, product mix, batch sizes and constraints to maximise capacity utilisation and margin performance.
• Coordinate lay‑can (vessel) planning to ensure efficient production scheduling and timely deliveries.
• Apply product allocation principles and provide insights for trade‑off decisions between market needs and profitability.
• Prepare and maintain analyses for short‑ and medium‑term planning, covering inventory, capacity, risks and optimisation opportunities.
• Identify deviations, supply risks and capacity constraints, supporting Global Planners in mitigation scenarios.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalisation of IBP processes, data quality and analytical tools.
• Collaborate globally, taking ownership of assigned planning activities and sharing knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to structure data and translate analysis into actionable insights.
• Problem‑solving mindset, curiosity about complex supply‑chain relationships and proactive ownership of tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across functions, cultures and geographies.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or other data‑visualisation tools (advantage).
• Knowledge of SAP IBP or similar supply‑chain planning systems (advantage).
