Kindergarten Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate kindergarten teacher who will help children grow in confidence, learning and social skills within a safe and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations align with the Learning Workshop’s value platform.
• Create an engaging, safe learning environment for children and staff.
• Plan and execute projects, activities and routines for short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Support colleagues in pedagogical methods and promote movement‑based play.
• Lead evaluation work and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration with parents and act as substitute for the pedagogical leader when needed.

Required profile

• Relationship‑oriented, attentive to each child’s needs and communication.
• Solution‑focused, flexible, collaborative and able to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Warm, caring adult who embodies the organization’s values.

Required skills

• Qualified higher education degree as a kindergarten or preschool teacher.
• Good command of Norwegian, both written and spoken.
• Ability to obtain a police clearance certificate.
