Logistics Coordinator – Salmon Export

About the role

Salten Aqua-gruppen is looking for a logistics coordinator for its slaughterhouse on Sørarnøy. You will play a central role in planning and carrying out logistics operations, coordinating shipments of salmon to national and international customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments of salmon to customers across Norway and abroad
• Handle orders, prioritise them and follow up on them
• Contact exporters, farmers, carriers and internal departments
• Plan and follow up production logistics together with the logistics manager
• Follow up documentation and quality requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems

Required profile

• Relevant education, preferably in logistics, economics, aquaculture or another relevant field (experience can compensate)
• Experience in logistics, transport or production planning
• Clear communication in Norwegian (or Scandinavian) and English
• Clean criminal record, with a police certificate; a background check by the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority is required
• Ability to handle stress, prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
