Operatør – overflatebehandling

About the role

SES Energy is looking for an Operator to join its surface‑treatment department at the Tananger base. The role combines manual tasks with support for automated robot operations to ensure equipment used in Norway’s oil and gas production receives proper surface treatment and maintains its service life.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual surface‑treatment tasks such as sandblasting, spray painting and machine maintenance.
• Operate and drive a forklift/truck for material handling.
• Assist robot operators by preparing workpieces and handling any manual interventions required for continuous production.
• Use a personal tablet and follow safety procedures while wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to solve production challenges and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Truck driver licence (truckførerbevis) and preferably a vocational certificate or site‑test in surface treatment.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to work in a high‑activity, structured environment.
• Good work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to follow safety rules.
