Pedagogical Leader for Nature Kindergarten

About the role

We are looking for a nature‑loving pedagogical leader to join our vibrant nature kindergarten at Hjuksebø. You will be responsible for both the administrative and educational aspects of your department, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for children, parents, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong cultural and value‑based environment within the kindergarten.
• Lead the pedagogical and administrative work of your department and participate actively in the leadership team.
• Ensure a safe, supportive daily routine for children and facilitate collaboration with parents and partners.
• Engage in daily play and activities, addressing children’s needs through care and interaction.
• Contribute to the continuous development and evaluation of the pedagogical offer.

Required profile

• Approved higher education as a kindergarten or preschool teacher.
• Interest and competence in the centre’s concept with natural leadership qualities.
• Experience in kindergarten work, preferably as a pedagogical leader.
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian, both written and spoken.
• Ability to organize, adapt work to children’s needs, and collaborate across departments.
