Process Engineer - Sustainable Water Solutions

About the role

Veolia in Norway is looking for a process engineer to help customers develop future wastewater treatment solutions, either by optimising existing plants or designing new ones. The position is part of EP Projects, Nordics, and reports to the Project Director Norway. It combines office work with practical work on sites.

Key responsibilities

• Dialogue and technical discussions with customers about needs and possibilities
• Take responsibility for process technical solutions in turnkey projects
• Develop solution proposals and business cases
• Design, size and optimise the process solution for wastewater treatment plants
• Analyse process data and prepare mass balances
• Contribute to developing smarter and more efficient plants
• Learn about Veolia's portfolio of technologies and apply it to the Norwegian wastewater market

Required profile

• Environmental or chemical engineering degree, or equivalent technical background, preferably with at least five years of relevant experience
• Experience with process calculations and knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies
• Analytical, structured and good at working with both customers and colleagues
• Good Norwegian and English
