Project Manager Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

Canterra, an independent consulting firm for project management, project control and advisory on construction, infrastructure, IT and technology, is looking for project managers for complex construction and infrastructure projects. Most assignments are in the Oslo area, but others may occur elsewhere. The role suits someone who wants more than just a new assignment and who can take initiative and grow responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to planning and execution of complex construction and infrastructure projects
• Handle project leadership, project control, planning, contracts or technical subjects
• Follow up progress, budget, risk, quality and interfaces
• Act as a reliable advisor and partner for clients' needs
• Build good relationships with clients and partners, share knowledge and help create new opportunities

Required profile

• At least five years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Experience from the execution phase, preferably pre-project, with a background as client, consultant, contractor, consulting firm or public authority
• Higher education in a relevant field, such as engineering or civil engineering; solid experience can compensate for formal education
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English; some assignments may require security clearance
• No need to come from the consulting industry, but you must thrive in client dialogue
