Senior UX/Service Designer - Logistics Platform

About the role

Oda builds a fulfillment and delivery system for online groceries, packing and delivering nearly half a million items daily to around 80,000 homes and businesses across Norway and Sweden. As a Senior UX/Service Designer you will design the internal tools and processes used by operators and drivers at the fulfillment centers, working in the Sourcing team of the Logistics platform. The role is office-based, with regular visits to the Lier fulfillment center and most of the week at the Tøyen office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead big projects from idea through concept, design, prototyping, implementation, testing and follow-up, working with the Sourcing team and logistics stakeholders
• Conduct UX research: observe operations, run workshops with team members, stakeholders and end users
• Communicate and present your work and its impact to peers and stakeholders
• Map and model complex, systemic workflows
• Design user interfaces and build prototypes in Figma or directly in code, with developers
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, Data and Insight, and Logistics development

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in UX, interaction or service design, with a portfolio showing full ownership from insight to shipped product
• Full-stack design attitude: insight, concept, structure and visual design, hands-on on the warehouse floor and in the codebase
• Solid fundamentals in product sense and design, including insight-centric processes and root cause analysis
• Speed over perfection, with a track record of driving process change
• Uses AI in their own design process and is interested in AI-enhanced product development
• Fluent English; intermediate Norwegian or Swedish is a strong plus
• Previous logistics experience is a plus, not required
