UX Design Summer Internship 2027

About the role

Oda develops affordable grocery services, starting with Norway's leading online grocery store and now partnering with Mathem in Sweden. For its 2027 summer internship, Oda gives a UX designer a real-life problem it is actively working on, with ownership of the project for the full 8 weeks. You will work in a cross-functional team of students alongside engineers and data scientists, with designers, engineers and data scientists supporting you.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a specific, real project and work through it with a student team
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to turn ideas into real products
• Present your work at the end of the program and receive feedback
• Take part in team meetings and sharing sessions

Required profile

• Portfolio showing user-centered design: need finding, user insights driving concepts and iterative design with usability testing
• Interest in designing digital services built on software
• Talent for collaborating with cross-functional teams of developers and data analysts
• Good knowledge of service, interaction and/or digital visual design
• Fluent English; preferably studying a Master's (3rd or 4th year) or having previous internship experience

Required skills

• UI design and a basic understanding of web and mobile technologies
• Proficiency in Figma
• Openness to modern AI tools
