Seniorrådgiver / spesialrådgiver – IT-revisjon

About the role

Riksrevisjonen is looking for a method advisor to shape the future of IT audit as an integral part of financial audit. You will work at the intersection of audit, methodology and technology, helping to develop how we audit IT systems, digital processes and IT controls that affect financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a subject‑matter advisor and sparring partner for IT audit teams.
• Assist with complex audit issues and ensure quality of audit work.
• Develop methodological approaches for auditing cloud services, automated processes and artificial intelligence.
• Plan and deliver competence‑building activities.
• Collaborate with relevant professional communities on audit development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or relevant bachelor’s with solid experience) in audit, accounting, economics, information systems or related field.
• Relevant experience in financial audit, IT audit or IT‑related internal control work.
• Good understanding of how IT systems, IT risk and IT controls affect financial reporting and audit standards.
• Strong analytical ability to translate complex requirements into practical methodology.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Norwegian.
