Station Manager – Car Rental Station

About the role

Avis Budget Group is looking for an engaged Station Manager (Stasjonssjef / Airport Manager) to lead one of its car rental stations. The role combines operational responsibility, business development and people leadership, reporting to the Head of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the station's staff, recruitment and onboarding, coach the team and ensure a good working environment
• Ensure professional, customer-oriented service and active participation in daily operations and vehicle rentals
• Plan and use the fleet efficiently, following company procedures and quality standards
• Drive growth, build relationships with customers and partners, identify new sales opportunities and meet budgets, KPIs and business goals
• Follow up revenue, profitability and key figures, and contribute to the company strategy

Required profile

• Natural leadership ability combining empathy with strong results orientation
• Experience in people management and in a customer-facing industry
• Comfortable with KPIs, budgets and performance follow-up
• Strong commercial sense, relationship building and communication at all levels
• Initiative, pragmatic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Norwegian and English speaking; driving licence class BE
• Local business development experience is an advantage
