Summer Intern – Technology Development & Catalyst Operations

About the role

Yara’s Technology centre in Porsgrunn is seeking a summer intern to support projects in both Technology Development and Catalyst Operations. The role involves literature reviews, business model exploration, and applying AI to visualise production data.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and theoretical studies to understand process theory.
• Investigate and develop business models for future operations in emerging markets.
• Use AI to systemise and visualise production and performance data from Yara nitric acid plants.
• Prepare reports and presentations in English.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year master’s student in chemistry, chemical engineering, physical chemistry or process chemistry.
• Self‑driven, responsible and able to communicate in a diverse work environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
