Tech Lead / Fullstack Developer

About the role

Telenor Norge's Network@Workplace team is looking for an experienced developer who will contribute to the code, set technical direction and make the team better. You will work on solutions supporting internet and connectivity for Norwegian businesses, from small companies to large ones and public authorities. As tech lead you combine hands-on development with responsibility for technical direction and quality, working closely with the product owner; there is no personnel management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve frontend, backend and APIs, contributing to stable and secure operations
• Drive technical decisions together with the team and shape an extensible architecture
• Balance customer value, technical debt, risk and feasibility with the product owner
• Break down complex problems into manageable steps, test assumptions and learn from user feedback
• Mentor developers, share knowledge and build ownership of technical solutions
• Improve practices such as code review, test automation, CI/CD and observability
• Use AI tools actively and critically, and collaborate across teams on technical dependencies

Required profile

• At least five years of software development experience and solid fullstack experience
• Technical leadership experience, with or without a formal tech lead title
• Experience in cross-functional product teams and improving ways of working
• Good spoken and written Norwegian and English
• Ability to pass security clearance and undergo background checks

Required skills

• Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue)
• Architecture, security, testing and maintainability
• Practical experience with AI tools in development
• A plus: cloud platforms (Azure or GCP), containers and observability
