Warehouse Manager – JYSK Alta

About the role

JYSK, an international furniture retail chain with Scandinavian roots, is looking for a warehouse manager for its Alta store. The role combines responsibility for the heart of the store – the warehouse – with good customer service and physical work on a busy day-to-day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods and stack pallets in the warehouse so deliveries run efficiently
• Handle goods in the warehouse and in the store
• Manage customer orders
• Train and support colleagues in a safe warehouse environment
• Maintain an attractive store display and stock
• Work in the store selling to give customers the best shopping experience

Required profile

• Able to take on a coordinating role and delegate tasks when needed
• Structured approach and focused mindset
• Enjoys teamwork and talking to customers
• Thrives in a busy day and can multitask
