2nd Engineer - Skandi Africa (Temporary, 5 Weeks)

About the role

DOF is recruiting a 2nd Engineer for a temporary assignment on the vessel Skandi Africa, starting 02.12.2026 and lasting about 5 weeks. The rotation is worldwide, and the candidate contributes to safe and efficient daily operations while supporting a strong safety culture alongside colleagues on board.

Required profile

• Certificates, endorsements and qualifications required for the position
• Meets company, flag state and regulatory requirements for the role
• Relevant experience from similar vessel types and operations
• Ability to work in a multicultural team and good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with DOF procedures and standards, or willingness and ability to learn them
• Professional attitude focused on continuous improvement and safe operations
• Experience with construction vessels is preferred
