About the role

Hotel Bristol, a historic full‑service hotel in the centre of Oslo, is looking for a Banquet Manager to lead its banquet and conference department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall daily operation of the banquet area, ensuring that every event meets the hotel’s high standards of service and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, set‑up and execution of all banquet and conference events.
• Lead, coach and schedule the banquet team to deliver seamless service.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, sales, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth event flow.
• Manage budgets, cost control and inventory for banquet operations.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in banquet, events or food‑and‑beverage management, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment with year‑round activity.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
