Daily Manager for Iconic Oslo Whisky Bar

About the role

We are looking for a Daily Manager to lead one of Oslo’s most established and renowned whisky bars. As the head of Dr. Jekyll's Pub, you will preserve its historic character while driving profitability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for daily operations, financial performance and results.
• Maintain the bar’s unique concept, atmosphere and high‑quality standards.
• Recruit, train and develop staff, fostering a strong internal culture.
• Enhance the bar’s expertise in whisky, beer and classic cocktails.
• Manage inventory, ordering and control of a specialized product range.
• Be present on the floor, actively participating in service.
• Collaborate with Thon Group’s support functions and adhere to corporate procedures.

Required profile

• Solid experience in the bar or hospitality sector, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong interest and knowledge of whisky and classic cocktails.
• Appreciation for tradition, concept integrity and long‑term brand building.
• Structured, responsible and comfortable with financial management.
• Clear, confident leadership style that builds trust within the team.
• Attention to detail and respect for the craft.
