Energy Fitter (Energimontør) – High and Low Voltage Installations

About the role

Omexom (formerly Otera Infra) is one of Norway's leading technical contractors in the power market. The Omexom station south department installs high- and low-voltage electrical installations in transformer and power stations and in industry, locally in Agder and across the country. The position is based in Mandal, with offices also in Kristiansand.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical installations in transformer and power stations
• Mount and maintain switchgear from 1 kV to 420 kV, both outdoor air-insulated (AIS) and indoor gas-insulated (GIS)
• Earthing work, cable work (1–420 kV), transformer work and mounting of all electrical equipment in transformer and power stations
• Diagnose and repair electrical and technical systems
• Work closely with customers and project managers to adapt solutions
• Occasional travel assignments within Norway by agreement

Required profile

• Vocational qualification as energy fitter (fagbrev energimontør)
• Category B driving licence
• Good Norwegian
• Ability to take initiative and work in a structured way
• Good communication skills and teamwork
