Engineering Product Manager - Webex Devices

About the role

Cisco's Webex Devices development center in Lysaker, Norway, is looking for an Engineering Product Manager within its Product Management team. The team sits between market demands and product development, covering design, user experience, go-to-market strategies and marketing, and works with development teams worldwide. The role turns customer insight, technical possibility and business strategy into clear product direction.

Key responsibilities

• Own product capabilities from discovery through launch, linking customer needs, market trends, technical constraints and business goals.
• Build a deep understanding of users, partners and customers through research, product data, feedback and close work with go-to-market teams.
• Define clear requirements, success metrics and trade-offs for engineering and design teams.
• Contribute to a 5-year roadmap for one or more product areas, balancing long-term opportunities with practical delivery.
• Drive launches with marketing, sales, support and regional teams, ensuring the story, timing and readiness are strong.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in product management, product development or an adjacent builder role, with shipped products, features or customer-facing improvements.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Development, Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience turning customer, market and business needs into product requirements, priorities and launch plans.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, marketing, sales or operations.
• Familiarity with hardware products, connected devices, collaboration technology or products where hardware and software work together.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English, able to explain decisions and trade-offs clearly.

Preferred: a builder's mindset, self-directed learning, curiosity about users and markets, technical fluency discussing hardware/software trade-offs with engineers, analytical and commercially aware, collaborative across cultures and time zones, and a genuine passion for technology and design quality.
