Head Construction Manager / Construction Manager / Assistant

About the role

Head Energy Consulting is seeking experienced construction leaders to oversee a rock‑drilling, blasting and crushing project at Rødsmoen and to support additional civil‑construction and demolition assignments. The role acts as an extension of the project manager, ensuring contractor performance meets economic, cost and quality standards while coordinating with military users and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the ongoing contract for drilling, blasting and crushing operations.
• Assist the project manager on related construction and demolition tasks.
• Coordinate contractor deliveries, focusing on budget, cost control and quality assurance.
• Serve as SHA (Health, Safety, Environment) coordinator during execution and, when required, during design phases.
• Facilitate communication between designers and field teams.
• Maintain liaison with military users and other project actors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction manager (BL) on large‑scale projects.
• Security clearance to Secret level.
• Technical vocational school education or equivalent.
• Recent (last 5 years) experience in large construction, blasting management and asphalt contracts.
• Proven experience in environmental monitoring and SHA coordination.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
