About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled cook to join the kitchen at Lom Health Home. The position is 60% permanent, starting 1 October 2026, with day‑time work and a rotating weekend schedule (every fourth weekend). You will help create nutritious and enjoyable meals for residents, day‑center participants with dementia, and the broader community through our meal‑delivery and catering services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare balanced meals for various user groups, adapting portions and menus to individual needs.
• Contribute to the canteen and catering operations, ensuring high food quality and safety.
• Support kitchen‑related tasks for institutional activities and special events.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance overall meal experiences for users.

Required profile

• Vocational certificate as a cook (fagbrev).
• Relevant experience, preferably in large‑scale or institutional kitchens.
• Interest in cooking and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility, initiative, and a service‑oriented attitude.
• Good Norwegian language skills, both written and spoken.
• Basic computer literacy.
