Optician Sales Associate

About the role

Synoptik Norge is looking for a full-time sales associate for its optical shop in Oslo. You will create good customer experiences in the store, working with varied and meaningful tasks in a warm, inclusive environment where colleagues support each other and share knowledge. The work involves giving advice on glasses and working with customers of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Give personal and professional advice to customers on choosing glasses
• Sell and fit glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses
• Take part in courses and professional development throughout the year
• Keep the shop tidy and welcoming for customers and colleagues
• Work closely with opticians and colleagues to give customers the best experience

Required profile

• Enjoys customer contact and meets people with a smile
• Respects, cares about and is curious about people
• Contributes to a supportive workplace, even when busy
• Structured, able to handle several things at once, and comfortable in a flat-hierarchy team
• A little room for humour in daily life
