Seasonal Sales Assistant – High Season

About the role

JYSK is looking for a sales assistant / seasonal worker for its Ulsteinvik team during the coming high season. This temporary position offers the chance to support the sales business, help customers and contribute to a dynamic retail environment during the busiest period of the year.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the sales area and checkout areas clean and tidy
• Help with receiving and storing goods as needed
• Support sales-promoting activities and seasonal displays
• Carry out other tasks assigned to support general store operations

Required profile

• Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment
• Reliable, punctual and flexible regarding shift planning during the high season
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
• Product knowledge or ability to learn about goods quickly preferred

Required skills

• POS systems or willingness to learn them quickly
• Basic math skills and accuracy handling cash
• Organisational skills, attention to detail and multitasking
