Senior Advisor – Plumbing, Energy and Sustainability

About the role

Asplan Viak, one of Norway's leading consulting firms in plumbing, energy and environment, is looking for an engaged and skilled senior advisor for its plumbing and sustainability group in Stavanger. You will work on projects setting standards for energy efficiency and climate responsibility, from modern commercial buildings and homes to public buildings, in a strong multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and advise on plumbing systems: pipes, ventilation, sanitary and sprinkler installations
• Prepare energy calculations, climate and environmental analyses and greenhouse gas accounting
• Support BREEAM certification and advise on environmental requirements in projects
• Take part in multidisciplinary collaboration on complex projects focused on quality, development and innovation
• Contribute to tendering and help develop the firm's professional community

Required profile

• Masters' or bachelor's degree in plumbing, energy and environmental engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as an advisor, designer or equivalent
• Good communication skills in Norwegian, written and spoken
• Ability to build good relationships internally and with clients
• Initiative, sense of responsibility and strong commitment to sustainability

Required skills

• Solid expertise in pipes, ventilation, sanitary and sprinkler systems
• Experience with energy calculations, BREEAM and greenhouse gas calculations
