Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep Java expertise to design, build, and evolve resilient, scalable software solutions that drive real business value across its global payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable Java applications aligned with business needs.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions for distributed systems and services.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and perform thorough code reviews.
• Lead planning, prioritisation, and backlog management activities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across environments and ensure robust testing (unit, integration, performance).
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and operations teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement of development practices.
