Shop Assistant – Fresh Food Department (Full Time)

About the role

SPAR Skage, part of NorgesGruppen's local supermarket chain, is looking for a shop assistant for a full-time position. The store wants someone who enjoys varied work, likes people and can take full responsibility for the hot food and fresh food departments during periods.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service, sales and service
• Working in the fresh food department during periods
• Cash handling, tipping and checkout operations
• Stocking all departments and taking orders
• Food safety, internal control, waste and quality checks
• Cleaning and hygiene routines
• Other shop tasks

Required profile

• Over 18 years old
• Willingness to work every other Saturday and occasional evening shifts
• Service-minded, independent, cheerful and good-humoured
• Good spoken and written Norwegian; shop experience is an advantage
• Interest in food and enjoyment of working in a busy team environment
