Site Manager – Transformer Station Projects, Bergen

About the role

Omexom builds, maintains and develops critical energy infrastructure ensuring safe power supply to society. It is strengthening its team in Bergen and is looking for a site manager to take responsibility for the operational delivery of transformer station and high-voltage projects. You will work on several ongoing and new projects in the Bergen area and act as the link between workers, subcontractors, project management and the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and lead daily work on site
• Follow up workers, subcontractors and partners
• Ensure safe and efficient work on transformer stations and high-voltage installations
• Monitor progress, quality, HSE and required documentation
• Plan staffing, materials, equipment and activities
• Work closely with the project manager and help with project economics and resource management
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with the customer and other stakeholders

Required profile

• Experience in the energy industry and understanding of work on or near transformer stations
• Relevant experience as a worker, lead worker, foreman or another operational leadership role; the exact title is not required
• Trade certificate as an energy worker or other relevant electrical background
• Experience coordinating or leading work on site, and knowledge of HSE, quality and safe work
• Ability to plan, prioritise and follow up several activities at once
• Good Norwegian, spoken and written
• Category B driving licence
• Regional grid and station experience is an advantage
