Sosionom – fast stilling i Tana

About the role

The Døgnenheten Tana, an adult psychiatric health unit within Finnmarkssykehuset, is looking for a full‑time (100 %) social worker (Sosionom). You can choose a schedule that includes daytime on weekdays with every third weekend day/evening, or day/evening on weekdays. The position is permanent and based on site at the health centre in Tana.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in diagnostic, treatment and evaluation processes for adult patients with anxiety, depression, addiction, personality disorders and psychosis.
• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, and other specialists.
• Provide individual and group support, case management, and documentation for patients.
• Ensure adherence to clinical routines, contribute to quality improvement, and maintain clear communication with internal and external partners.
• Support patients, staff and management through effective communication and teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent (Sosionom).
• Relevant further education or approval as a clinical social worker.
• Preferably broad clinical experience in mental health and substance‑use services.
• Excellent written and spoken Norwegian; knowledge of Sami language and culture is desirable.
• Strong communication, collaboration and independent work abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Norwegian (written and spoken).
