Driftsleder for sjåførorganisasjon

About the role

Oda is looking for a Driftsleder for its driver organisation to lead and develop the delivery team in Norway and Sweden. You will be responsible for safe, efficient and high‑quality last‑mile deliveries while fostering an engaging work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily dispatches, route changes and next‑day planning to ensure punctual departures and optimal driver availability.
• Handle the full hiring cycle in the HCM system, including staffing plans, time approvals, sick‑leave follow‑up and compliance with labour legislation.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and performance‑based upskilling of drivers together with Driver Team Leaders.
• Conduct daily H&S rounds and damage assessments to maintain fleet order, cargo safety and a clean workplace.
• Run weekly meetings with Team Leaders, delegate tasks efficiently and escalate serious incidents to the Site Delivery Manager.

Required profile

• Documented leadership experience in last‑mile delivery, logistics or a similar operational environment.
• Strong personnel‑management skills, including hiring, training and performance management.
• Knowledge of Norwegian labour law and operational staffing planning.
• Experience with H&S standards and compliance in logistics/operations.
• Practical, solution‑oriented approach to daily operational challenges.
