Account Executive - Industrial IoT Architecture

About the role

Cisco is looking for an Account Executive for its Industrial IoT team in Norway and Finland. You will sell end-to-end Industrial Networking solutions to customers and help grow Industrial IoT sales revenue across North EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Industrial Networking solutions to customers in Norway and Finland
• Lead the sales motion by working with Cisco account teams, channel partners and end customers
• Work with product management and industry solutions teams to drive strategy and results

Required profile

• Deep sales background with strong product positioning and closing skills, and a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
• Ideal background in Industrial IoT and/or networking, managing large, complex technology sales with C-level executives
• Experience selling industrial networking, wireless, security and management platforms (on-premises and cloud)
• Experience selling through channel partners and in industries such as utilities, renewables, transportation, manufacturing and oil and gas
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field, and experience at both start-ups and large enterprises
• Fluent Norwegian and English; Finnish is a plus

Required skills

• Comfortable speaking in front of large audiences (100+ people)
• Ability to learn new technologies and communicate their value clearly
• Proficiency with opportunity qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and sell efficiently remotely or in person
• Open to an overlay sales role
