Assistant Front Desk Manager

About the role

Thon Hotel Vika Atrium is looking for a service‑oriented Assistant Front Desk Manager to become a key member of the reception team. In this position you will help maintain high‑quality guest experiences, support the Front Desk Manager and contribute to a professional, inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑manage the reception in line with overall goals and strategies.
• Handle guest check‑in and check‑out, as well as daily front‑desk tasks.
• Provide service to building tenants and visitors.
• Share personnel responsibility every other weekend.
• Assist the Front Desk Manager with staffing and work‑schedule planning.
• Develop and quality‑check routines and checklists for top‑class service.
• Train staff and act as a THON+ ambassador.

Required profile

• Outgoing and solution‑oriented.
• Passionate about service and guest satisfaction.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Adaptable to a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
