Associate Partner – Procurement Consultancy

About the role

Bang & Partners is a brand-new procurement consultancy founded and led by Thor Bang-Ellingsen, who spent 13 years building Prokura, a Nordic procurement consultancy acquired by Kearney, into a global firm. As Associate Partner you join the leadership of a young firm with real momentum, helping to build it and share in the value created. The firm is open to equity ownership from day one for candidates who bring expertise, ambition and a commercial platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major procurement engagements and grow client relationships, increasingly originating and selling work yourself
• Own entire engagements end-to-end, including the team and the strategic client relationship
• Build and grow client accounts, turning your network into pipeline and lasting relationships
• Develop consultants and set the standard for how the firm delivers and wins
• Shape the firm's offerings, commercial model and go-to-market approach
• Introduce AI and modern methods into how the firm sells and delivers

Required profile

• Strong academic background and track record, typically 7+ years of relevant experience in procurement and/or strategic consulting, mainly from a leading consulting firm
• Sales and business development track record, emerging or established
• A relevant network in the Nordic market, or the credibility to build one
• A strong, credible leader who develops teams and earns client trust
• Excellent communication in Norwegian and English, from working teams to the boardroom
• Excitement for AI and willingness to adopt and help shape the tools used
• Openness to strong supply chain profiles, an area the firm plans to grow
