About the role

We are looking for a passionate kindergarten teacher who believes that children deserve a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow emotionally and academically. The role combines pedagogical duties with administrative responsibilities, ensuring our values are lived out daily.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the kindergarten operates in line with the Learning Workshop’s value platform.
• Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children and staff.
• Share knowledge about child development and support continuous professional growth within the team.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical and methodological work.
• Lead evaluation activities and drive continuous improvement.
• Co‑manage collaboration with parents and guardians.
• Act as substitute for the pedagogical leader when needed.

Required profile

• Relational, attentive to each child’s needs and communication.
• Ambitious, warm, caring adult who can inspire participation in children’s play and learning.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible, collaborative and able to communicate with diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable handling pressure, responsible, independent and self‑motivated.
• Identifies with the Learning Workshop’s values and mission.

Required skills

• Approved college education as a kindergarten teacher or preschool teacher.
• Experience in a kindergarten setting is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong Norwegian language skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to obtain a police clearance before employment.
• Personal suitability will be assessed during selection.
