Barnehagelærer – Vikar for storbarnsavdeling

About the role

We are looking for a qualified kindergarten teacher to cover a maternity leave vacancy in a large‑children group (24 children, 4 staff). The position starts in December and may lead to a permanent role from August next year.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations follow the centre’s value platform and quality standards.
• Create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment for children and staff.
• Share knowledge about child development and support professional growth within the team.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical and methodological work.
• Drive evaluation activities and continuous improvement processes.
• Facilitate good cooperation with parents and act as deputy for the pedagogical leader when absent.

Required profile

• Relationship‑oriented, attentive to each child’s needs and expressive communication.
• Ambitious, solution‑oriented, flexible and collaborative, able to work under pressure.
• Capable of interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and life situations.
• Responsible, independent, warm and caring adult who identifies with the centre’s values.
