Dental Secretary / Dental Assistant

About the role

OC Bergen Nord Dental Centre, part of OC Tannklinikker's 14 clinics across Norway, is looking for a dental secretary or dental assistant. You will play a central role in the daily running of the clinic, supported by specialists and general practitioners. The clinic is located in the north of Åsane, Bergen.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists and specialists during treatment
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms
• Disinfect and maintain equipment according to current routines
• Follow infection control and hygiene procedures
• Handle appointment books, phones and administrative tasks
• Contribute to good patient flow and effective teamwork

Required profile

• Authorization as a dental secretary or relevant experience
• Structured, accurate and responsible
• Thrives in a busy environment with varied tasks
• Good cooperation skills and service-minded, focused on patient safety
• Flexible and solution-oriented

Required skills

• Good knowledge of digital systems
• Appointment book handling and administration

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 07:45–15:45 or 11:45–19:45, starting 1 January 2027 or later by agreement.
