Pedagogisk leder

About the role

We are looking for a Pedagogical Leader to oversee the administrative and educational responsibilities of our department in a music‑focused kindergarten. The role combines leadership, curriculum development, and daily interaction with children, parents, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Build a strong culture based on our values platform, ensuring they are visible in words and actions.
• Provide pedagogical, administrative and operational leadership for the department and actively participate in the kindergarten’s leadership team.
• Create a safe and nurturing daily environment for children and facilitate collaboration with parents and external partners.
• Participate in play and everyday activities, meeting children’s needs through care and play.
• Develop and enhance the pedagogical offer, including project‑based work towards the annual concert at Fana Kulturhus.
• Engage in evaluation work and continuous development processes for the kindergarten.
• Plan daily operations, draft and implement the annual plan together with staff and the director.

Required profile

• Passion for contributing to children’s growth and a willingness to listen, share experiences and strengthen collective ambitions.
• Strong organizational abilities, clear communication, solution‑oriented and structured work style.
• Enjoy working with children, be a team player and foster collaboration across departments.
• Identify with the organisation’s values, treat others with respect and equality.
• Qualified as a preschool or kindergarten teacher, with experience in early childhood education; experience as a pedagogical leader is desirable.
• Good command of Norwegian, both written and spoken, and a clean police certificate before start.
