Project Manager – Digital Transformation

About the role

The Project Manager will lead high‑impact projects that drive digitalisation, process improvement and innovation within Norway's Labour Inspection Authority. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from definition to delivery and evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Define clear goals, plans and governance structures for each project.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensuring collaboration between business, technology and leadership.
• Manage scope, risks, dependencies and changes throughout the project.
• Prepare decision‑making material and report status, deviations and recommendations to the project owner and steering group.
• Oversee change management, communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Track expected benefits and contribute to organisational learning and improvement of project work.

Required profile

• Relevant higher education at bachelor level or equivalent experience.
• Documented experience leading digitalisation, development or change projects.
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk handling and benefit realisation.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Norwegian.
• Analytical ability to turn insights into concrete recommendations.
• Initiative‑driven, collaborative, solution‑oriented and able to work independently.
