Senior Principal Content Strategist - Forma Design

About the role

Autodesk's Experience Foundations team for AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) is looking for a Senior Principal Content Strategist for Forma Design, which builds the AI-native industry cloud for the AEC lifecycle. Reporting to a Senior Manager of Content Strategy, the role defines and advances content strategy so that customer experiences across Forma Design and adjacent platforms are clear, coherent and trusted. Key responsibilities

• Define and drive content strategy across Forma Design and the connected platform, shaping product direction and customer journeys across in-product experiences, learning, agentic and conversational AI experiences and other touchpoints
• Work with Product, Design, Engineering, Research and Data Science to integrate content strategy early in product development
• Design learning and onboarding experiences that are intuitive, personalized and aligned with Autodesk's AI-forward direction
• Pioneer AI-native content workflows and scale content output and quality
• Build scalable frameworks, governance models and operating practices for consistent experiences
• Lead terminology, naming and content system efforts, and define metrics for content quality
• Track trends in content strategy, content design and AI, and mentor other strategists and guide partners

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, content strategy, product design, service design, conversation design or a related discipline
• Proven experience delivering in-product content design and strategy for complex digital products or software
• Experience defining product direction with Product, Design, Engineering and Research
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, HCI, Information Design, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Preferred: experience in the AEC industry and deep expertise in conversational UX and content design for AI-driven experiences

• Distilling complex technical subject matter into clear written, visual or video content
• Excellent communication and storytelling, able to explain design rationale and influence senior stakeholders
• Experience designing in-product onboarding, learning and AI-powered user experiences
