Service Technician – Hoisting Equipment

About the role

Konecranes is looking for service technicians for its team in Stord/Haugesund. You will face customers directly and deal with them daily, working with modern service systems and processes in a leading international company.

Key responsibilities

• Predictive maintenance and servicing of hoisting equipment such as winches, travelling cranes and other lifting gear
• Expert inspection of winches, travelling cranes and other lifting equipment
• Debugging, repairs and installation work, including mechanical and electrical repairs
• Serving as the company's face to customers

Required profile

• Vocational qualification as electrician, industrial mechanic, industrial fitter, agricultural mechanic or car mechanic, or equivalent; service experience in industry, mechanics or electricity can compensate for the qualification
• Ability to understand simple mechanical and electrical documentation
• Communication in Norwegian or Scandinavian, spoken and written
• Class B driving licence
• Team player with good collaboration and communication skills, problem solver who works independently and with a focus on quality and customer relationships
• Comfortable using digital tools and willing to travel, with travel allowance and meal allowance after state rates
