About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Mastercard’s Bill Pay Norway team, delivering the country’s leading recurring payment product, AvtaleGiro. You will work on continuous delivery of services, turning functional requirements into production‑ready code.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and testers to drive functional requirements from specification to release.
- Write and deliver quality Java code using Mastercard tools and follow Agile practices.
- Document work in Jira and Confluence, and adhere to enterprise quality standards and build control strategies.
- Define test plans and schedules together with business stakeholders and the development team.
- Leverage AI tools to improve productivity on relevant tasks.
Required profile

Required skills
- Back‑end development experience, preferably in Java.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for documentation and tracking.
