Special Educator for Inclusive Kindergarten

About the role

The kindergarten is looking for a dedicated special educator to join its leadership team from 1 August 2027. The role combines direct work with children, guidance of staff, and collaboration with parents and external professionals to ensure an inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support children who need special pedagogical assistance.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate individualized support sessions.
• Take overall responsibility for BTI and IUP processes.
• Guide and assist staff on special education matters.
• Collaborate with parents, PPT, and relevant external agencies.

Required profile

• Qualified kindergarten teacher with a master’s degree in special education (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in special education within early childhood settings is preferred, but training will be provided if needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Norwegian.
• Collaborative, development‑oriented mindset with an inclusive view of children and families.
